Any in depth books about Serum?

Started by Gazelle

I have tried the demo and I am very interested in Serum. However, I am wondering whether the manual alone covers everything the product offers. I already read books about synthesis so I know the general basics behind it. (only not that much about wavetable synthesis) But I want to know how Serum itself works.

I am especially interested in the in depth features, like the formula parser for example. Is there a book that covers everything in depth? I really want to know everything.

I have browsed through the manual, but it seems not to cover everything in detail, does it?  (I haven't read it as I do not have the product yet so maybe my first impression is wrong)

So before buying I want to know whether there are books around that can teach me this product.

Thanks for the interest in Serum.   The manual covers the basic formula parser features.  To know everything you'll need to purchase as there is knowledge dumps in the registered Serum users forum on occasion.  But I think you should be able to ascertain whether or not you want to purchase first.

Warm regards,
Steve

Thank you for the reply. I decided to buy it, so I will look at these knowledge dumps.

I decided to buy it, because I found video tutorials in the internet (at Sonic Academy). Furthermore, the interface is very intuitive. On top of that, I like complexity and I think I can go pretty deep with Serum.
