Aww no Black Friday w/e Sale? :(

Excuse for me to pick up Nerve. :p

The amount of money I've spent already is pretty crazy lol.

I don't (historically ever) offer sales. While I won't say "never", there are no such plans any time in the future.

I have a few reasons why I do not.
As a customer of a ton of music software myself:

1) it always seems like punishment to see a sale after purchasing. I don't like that feeling
2) I don't like the "pressure" of "maybe I should buy this thing I might not want, just because it will cost more later". Similarly, I want customers who really want the product. This makes everyone happier.

I'm pretty sure I view sales differently than the average person (and business)… but this is my thinking on the issue.

Cheers,
Steve

Fair enough Steve, I appreciate your honest response.

Nevertheless, I've just bought Nerve to show my support (plus I think it's awesome). Looking forward to more from you in the future :)

I remember that I got LFOtool when you bundled it with the "Fish" single. It feels like I pirated it even though I bought the bundle :L

I know exactly what you mean by "punishment to see a sale after purchasing", and the same thing is true in reverse—I'm STILL feeling the sting of having missed out on Serum's introductory price of $129 by having discovered Xfer / Serum a few weeks too late. I AM one of those customers who really wants the product, but I may never get to experience it, knowing that I could have paid $129 instead of $189.  I know it's stupid, but I'm still bummed out about that. I did buy the more affordable Cthulhu, though, and it's great. It astonishes everyone I show it to, and they end up wanting it, too.

Anyway, best wishes for your continued success.

While there may be no sale there is splice which is pretty amazing :D $9.99 per month for serum = win :D !!!

I just imagined that it was for sale for $10 more and was less today and bought it anyway, I was waiting in case there was a price drop though in case! I think Steve is right that if you want it, you want it- it's not like trying to drum up sales on a bunch of old toasters.

happy Serum Friday!
