cthulhu timing

Started by jacen

hi everyone.

My daw is logic the latest version and im using cthulhu as AU plugin and have it working on , i have enabled he IAC driver and have set it up in the logic environment , i did notice also that you can skip this step and by clicking the MIDI IAC button on cthulhu it syncs for you,

my problem is when i have it setup in the logic midi environment and have the cthulhu IAC tab disabled the plugin runs perfectly in sync and on time when i have the cthulhu track highlighted,

if i click on another track and move off the cthulhu track the timing and sync goes off and i need to enable the AIC tab on cthulhu to bring the sync back together, but then the loop starts a beat too late and is behind a beat,

then i need to click back on the cthulhu track the with the IAC tab disabled to get cthulhu back in time and on the proper beat

so in short when cthulhu track is highlighted and the IAC is disabled it all works fine, but as soon as i go to another track and highlight it cthulhu is out of sync and time, until i enable the IAC tab which brings cthulhu back in sync but its behind a beat on the loop

Hi Jacen,

This is not a support forum.  Are you using the demo version?  The latest full version allows for direct export of chords and arp patterns as well via drag and drop.   Also there are other options for printing in Logic which you'll find in the Cthulhu forum.

Warm regards,
Steve

You should only use the AU instrument if you are using Logic 9.   Using Logic X you should insert Cthulhu as a MIDI FX.     If you choose to purchase you will get Cthulhu forum access at that point!

THX STEVE FOR THE INFO
i will be buying the full version this weekend, tell me this is there any information about explaining the new features  it has in logic x you talked about

kind regards  from Northern Ireland Steve,
i will also be purchasing Serum also it sounds wicked

search Logic in the Cthulhu forum once you purchase to see existing conversation.

Warm regards,
