Ever since I started selling presets, I’ve been working my ass off on my signature sound, including the mixing aspect. The goal is to create presets you can just drop into the mixer, adjust the gain, and you're good to go, without needing to add a bunch of extra effects.
Then I had the idea to recreate song drops in my own style as a way to study. I remembered this Skrillex track and remade it my own way. That’s the result I’m getting so far.
Everything you're hearing was created from scratch, including the samples. The growls, bass, and arps are all presets I created. They all use nothing but a kick sidechain created with FL Studio's stock limiter. The effects are all contained within each preset.
