Ok, this is a little hard to explain…
I've noticed that the phase does not seem to reset consistently in the following situation:
- Polyphony = mono
- Phase randomness = 0
- Note off is at the same exact time as the next note on, or the note off never comes at all. (So, an open note is being "stolen" by a new note coming in.)
If I create a simple kick drum patch like that, and create a sequence triggering it repeatedly, I hear a kind of "phasing", where each hit is slightly different. It sounds like the start phase is shifting. But, I would expect every hit to be exactly the same, because I have phase randomness set to 0.
Another clue: I found that setting "Phase Memory" to "Per Voice" fixes the problem.
Is this a bug or a feature? Or am I going crazy?
Thanks,
