Lemur template screenshots

Started by steve_xfer

as requested here are the Lemur pages just lifted from the LemurEditor, they look a little better in-action with meter animations / step animations / pad labels / menus etc.

Thank you for the fast reply Steve. Much appreciated!!
The template looks great and very promising!

I just downloaded the demo version of Nerve.
Am I right that it is version 1.0?

It would be really important for me to test Nerve with my Lemur. It is the one of the major reasons to buy Nerve for me.
Would it be possible to make the latest version of Nerve downloadable for testing including the Lemur template?
Thanks. :))

Btw.: Still using molar with my monome.

I don't offer Lemur demo, it is a bonus and not a reason to buy Nerve (so if it is an essential reason to buy Nerve, I would say do not).

There is a 1.01 demo "beta" if you look for a Lion thread in this forum, but it is mostly just needed for Lion

Ok, thanks for the info Steve!

Maybe I put it a bit wrong wlhen I said, that the Lemur template is the (only) essential reason to buy Nerve.

Of course Nerve´s unique worklow and useability should be reason Nr. 1, but from my experience I get a very different
approach to software/hardware when I use the Lemur as a midi controller. The advantage of being nearly "mouse free"
can´t be beaten in my opinion. It is just a totally different worklow and much more inspiring to work with a unique midi
controller.

Through the Lemur I discovered NI Reaktor in a way like I would have never had with mouse only.
So, for me it is a question of good results and a matter of having fun to achieve that, therefore the Lemur has become
an irreplaceable, essential tool in my daily work in conjunction with good soft- and hardware.

I´ll take a look at 1.01 beta soon and check what the Lemur template offers me through the screenshots. A small
description in the manual regarding the Lemur template would be an extra bonus.

Many thanks!

Cheers
Mark

Hi Steve, I know this is probably a stupid question but Is there any updated Lemur Template? Also Im running 1.01 b50 osc lemur enabled version with Live. I am running the original lemur template jzml you posted a while back, I have replaced the .cfg with ip address of my lemur {169.254.5.133} which is also the ip showing on Lemur TCP/IP setup and the targets are set to the same IP as well with port 8005 on space 3. I am able to see any inputs or steps I input in Nerve in Ableton go directly to my lemur but I cant input on the lemur, if I input on the lemur it would show a grey velocity bar instead of a blue. The samples show blue on the lemur and work when inputting from the computer. I tried changing my network to same IP and still no talkback from the lemur. So I can see talkback from Nerve>Lemur but not from Lemur>Nerve. Sorry for the long winded question and thanks in advance for your reply.- J

you should use the Nerve registered user forum for Nerve support..this is the general forum for presales questions.
with that said OSC Target 3 on the Lemur should have your Macintosh IP address

Hey steve is this for the ipad version of lemur?

This is not the satori you know…… i chose this alias along time ago before i found out there was already someone with it!! lol I have a new alias but i created this login befor! :p Not trying to impersonate!

The Satori I know is Satori-C :)

Well, yes, the screenshots above were taken with the Lemur Editor which comes with the iPad version (already stretched from hardware Lemur)

The template was originally created for the actual Lemur, the only real difference using their "stretcher" applet is some font sizes. So it works with both..

Again (I think I said this) it looks a little nicer in operation because of the text information which is printed from Nerve (pad names, menus, etc) and animations (meters).

I just started using Lemur & noticed you made a template for Nerve. WOW!!!! The 2 best things in the world combined. This is amazing!!!!! Thank you.
