Lost all of my Serum Patches downgrading from El Capitan

Hi guys, never in my career have I ever "lost" anything in music production. I made the fatal error of thinking it might be a good idea to upgrade to El Capitan without looking into it first, and as many of you know, this causes a lot of problems with a handful of music applications.  Once I discovered that, I used Time machine to go back to Yosemite and all was fine EXCEPT Serum loads default in every session I ever used it in.

Just to clarify - my sessions live in an external so they weren't part of the Time Machine backup re-installation.  At first I thought "maybe this sound was made after my last backup" so I explored in an older session and the same thing happened.

Is there any way to recover my patches? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hmm, I'm not clear what you're facing.

If you're referring to settings within saved projects (which I believe you are), make sure you're using the latest version of Serum (Build: on global tab).   It sounds like you must have restored or installed an older version of Serum.

If you're referring to presets no longer showing in the preset menu or browser, perhaps you overwrote a newer /Library/Audio/Presets/Xfer Records with an older one, so check Time Machine.

Hope this helps,
Steve
