So first of I am obviously not much of a sound engineer. I was using FM to modulate a sine wave with a square wave while making a pluck in Serum and noticed that the volume tends to fluctuate getting very low sometimes if I repeat notes… I'm just trying to figure out if I'm having an issue on my end or if this is due to the different positions of where the wave starts at when I strike the note canceling each other out? I've tried playing with the phase position and random knob. Also if anyone could recommend a good place to learn more about how that works (if indeed the case) it'd be much appreciated, kinda burned out on youtube videos. Sorry if i'm not explaining very well it's like 4:30 in the morning and I'm running out of gas.
