Nerve is awesome

 Hello,

Nerve is very very cool! You can use it to make top ten billboard pop beats, or a heavy techno/dance song.. Literally you can do anything you want with it!

Best drum program ever! It allows for so much creativity.

 I quite agree

BEST DRUM PROGRAM EVER !

and really love the built-in reverb in b29

Its the most creative drum program that I've ever used.. I actually like it more than the Fruity Loops…

IMO… Ableton + Nerve = Best Combo Ever!

Speaking of built in reverb, I've been using TAL reverb since I bought Nerve, specifically on different outputs from Nerve…. So the built-in reverb from TAL was probably a subconscious feature request

I'll be forthcoming - I just googled "Open Source Reverb" and TAL pops up in the first results (With that said, I went to that link first, since I use his plugins too).   I checked out the compiled Reverb 1 on Nerve's outputs, and felt it would be a good fit!

I ended up licensing the code for a small fee (since Nerve is a commercial product, I wouldn't expect it for free) -  the developer is an incredibly nice guy (obviously, as he makes quality stuff for free) and was very easy-going about the process  - I would recommend donating to TAL if you use his plug-ins a lot! :)

… Also thanks to everyone putting praises to Nerve here unprovoked, the best advertisement is always word-of-mouth, and I really appreciate it.

Oh my…finally after ten years I can get great hard hitting bass drum without hours of layering, compressing and adding numerous effects. What used to take me hours and days only takes 10 to 15 minutes using Nerve. This is really Producer quality vst straight out of the box. This is the best drum sequencer/sampler/synth I've ever used and I would recommend it to anyone…beautiful GUI too!

Hello

To All who come across reading this , there is no HYPE here just the truth !!! NERVE IS THE BEST DRUM INSTRUMENT I have ever had the pleasure of buying..

1- No I do not work for XFER

I am a DJ Producer from New York  for almost 20 years in the House Dance Scene  http://www.facebook.com/plasmichoney

Started out years ago with all hardware & as everyone else through the years been all software etc

This piece has so many great things to speed up workflow its just simply amazing Im not going tell anyone everything it does but believe me its great

Def look into it & find out for yourself how great this piece is …going through all  my purchased sample banks I have collected for years has never been easier Blows away the speed of exs24 in Logic and I never seen or used anything as fast for  browsing sounds  as the Nerve

Hats off to STEVE DUDA for his amazing work!!!

Also I had 2 questions that I emailed steve on & both on seperate situations he responded to me with an answer & solution within minutes emailed me back

I have never gotten that fast of tech support anywhere else in all the years Im in the business , So again Thank you Xfer & Steve

Thanks

Sal Basile/Plasmic Honey

No doubt about it. I've tried most software drum machines out there. Was never happy with any of them until i discovered nerve.

This thread was very difficult for me to read, because I cannot seem to get Nerve running on Lion 10.7.2. This is the demo, mind you.

Hi.
Just bought Nerve after about a month of playing with the demo version…still have to learn (will watch the youtube tutorials) but have to say that its a great piece of Soft plug. Like Steve mentioned…word of mouth and the way I found out about Nerve was through Facebook on Torsten Fassbender's wall when he said "goodbye to NI Battery and Logic's Ultrabeat!!

Thanx Torsten and then to the main guy, Steve and the fast service!!!

Been surfing music radar for the past hour.

Found this lil article about DJ fresh and what he uses with production. Was quite surprised when I saw that he uses nerve.

Thought this might be of interest and Its great that nerve is getting alot more advertisement.

Article:

Xfer Nerve

"This is the most incredible plug-in for sequencing and refining drukits. It includes the ability to shape and non-destructively edit waveforms and kick drum sounds. Some great features include the ability to switch sequencer patterns with MIDI notes, sample resynthesis (great for cleaning up kick drums), internal sidechaining and a great sequencer that allows you to draw pan position, velocity, filter cutoff and more on the sequencer grid. You can also view relative bar positions of samples on an overall matrix. This is the go-to drum programming software for me… period."

I used to be an old faithful user of the MPC60 and Sp1200 then Reason, then GURU.
This plugin is as tight as the SP1200 and MPC60 in my opinion, and as cool to use, a real musicians and producers plugin, a total joy to use.
I'll be using this on all my labels releases from here on.

Well done Steve, well thought out and beautifully executed peice of software that behave like hardware :)

Just bought Nerve yesterday. WHAT A GREAT TOOL TO WORK WITH. THANK YOU, STEVE!!!!!
