Possible new user (Cthulhu), question.

Started by RobUK

Hi All,

I am new to the software from xfe and am considering buying Cthulhu as I have seen some good reviews and I think it may help me understand chords more than I am now. I have a question; is there any "free" presets that are based around electronic music as I am still learning and have a lot to get through. One I found is around £20, another is about £10. What is actually included with the purchased Cthulhu if I may ask?

Thanks in advance
Rob

I do have another question, my pc case (bitefenix ghost) allows me to swap drives via a build in caddy thus my normal drive is used to games internet etc. and my music drive is not connected to the net, my other questions is, since my music drive is not connected to the net does the product needs an online activation?
I think I better add my system spec.
Desktop Konnect 6, KRK 5's Axiom 49 keyboard, Cubase 9 pro, few vsti synths (Dune2, Sylenth1, SynthMaster and Synthmaster One (not the full blown collection)) and some free synths from the net.
Pc spec: i7, 16gb memory, ssd drives (both for music and general use) plus separate drive for synth libraries and samples. amd gpu.

Thanks again
Rob

The presets included in Cthulhu are the same as in the demo. I believe there are some free user supplied presets linked in the Cthulhu registered user forum. There are also some commercial third party chord packs available. There is no activation needed for Cthulhu - you can simply copy the installer from your account on this website to a USB drive, etc just as you did with the demo, I assume.

Warm regards,
Steve

Hi Steve, no I have not tried the demo but from watching all the videos on youtube and elsewhere I am confident in knowledge that I will like the plug-in without trying it out in advance. Thanks for the info on the activation or not as in this case. I think my next plan may be the LFO tool at some point in time, that is one I will try out first.
