Im having problems with splice, they've taken my monthly payment out for serum but have said the payment has not processed and canceled my subscription. The payment has gone through and i have emailed them with proof, but they have said the email was typed wrong although I've had confirmation with my original email all the way through?

And to get a reply take forever as well.. Has anyone else had problems with this?

I'm sorry to hear of the issue, I haven't heard any similar reports. If this is not resolved please use the contact form and I'll dig in to it.

Hi Steve,

I have been trying to contact them since Monday. They reply once a day and when they do i reply right away and i hear nothing back. Its very frustrating has I need serum as its my main plug in.

Regarding to the contact form is that on splice? If so i have done that a number of times and it still isn't working.

Thank you for getting back to me

Ash

Glad the issue is resolved, I will leave this post here + certainly look for any other similar reports and I will mention it to Splice.

Having problems updating splice. Downloaded a new pack, and it says that it was made with a newer version of serum. I delete serum (made sure around 5 times) and reinstall on splice. Yet when it is completed, serum in splice says reinstall again and the new packs still say the same thing. What’s the newest version and the best steps?

Thank you,

David

Hi David,
You can find the latest version on Serum also here in "your account".

If Serum is not updating, you're probably installing to the wrong location vs. where the DAW is set to look for VST plugins.
It is also important to restart the DAW.
1) Look where your DAW is set for VST Plugins and

2) delete Serum.dll / Serum_x64.dll from that location.

3) sanity check: Verify Serum is no longer available in the DAW.

Then quit the DAW and run the update to that location.

In FL Studio, check FL options->Plugin Manager, and delete any and all instances of Serum (expand window to the right if needed to see path) in Windows explorer, rescan and verify Serum is not available, then quit FL and run the update.

Let me know your DAW and OS if you’re still stuck.
