I'm using Nerve demo. I get an error message when i try to load a REX file. How do i fix this? Thanks.

My apology. I found the old message with the instruction to get rex.dll from Propellerheads. Unfortunately the provided link no longer works. I have submitted a ticket to Reason Studios re. rex.dll. I wanted to test the REX groove extraction feature of Nerve demo.

You could install the Ableton Live demo, or another product that installs the Rex dll automatically, I believe.

I don't suppose you know if Ableton Live 10 Lite install the rex file?

Hi Steve. Just out of interest Reason Studios replied with this:
"If an application is REX-compatible, the required files must be installed with the app. Please get in touch with Xfer if the REX shared library DLL is missing!

Reason 10 doesn't come with the REX DLL as this code is native to Reason.

I'm downloading Ableton Live Lite, which i have a license of, as we speak. I'm just worried in case my computer breaks (it's a refurb in a small box). I think Ableton Live Lite gives me a limited (2) number of authorisations, and this is the 2nd installation. I'm worried about what i would do (to make Nerve work with Rex) in the future. I expect i will be buying Nerve next month.

Reason used to offer the Rex DLL as a free download, before they sold the company at least. I wanted to avoid DLL version conflicts as most people get it installed by their DAW. An Ableton Live license is not needed to keep the Rex DLL, even if Live is not working, the Rex DLL will work.

OK Steve i will trust that i will be able to continue to use the REX function/s of Nerve in the future, on the following computer. By all reports i have heard that you provide excellent support so i'm not going to worry about it! Thanks Steve.
