Hello Steve,

I have two questions for you about Serum.
The first one. Can the graphical user interface be ajusted to a larger size in the future?

And the second one (and probably the dumbest question ever) is about the Serum FX plugin. The effects on this plugin can be used on instuments in your project (MIDI and Audio tracks) but is it possible to use the modulation also on the selected tracks? For example, I know that the most DAW's have plugins to manipulate a sound over time. But the way you can manipulate how Serum does is very very unique and easy to use.

Maybe it is not possible, or maybe it's not interesting enough to make it possible. I just had this weird thought about it and love to share it with you.

Kind regards en love Serum!

  1. Yes, it is in testing.
  2. You can use the modulation in SerumFX, this is what the NOTE LATCH button in the lower-right of SerumFX (voicing section) is for. More specifically, the modulation in Serum runs on active notes, and the NOTE LATCH will 'latch' (trigger+hold) a note so you don't need to go through the hassle of routing MIDI to SerumFX. Or alternatively you can route MIDI notes to the effect (in most DAWs), if you want to pattern-trigger the modulation, for instance.

Warm regards,
Steve
