Hi Steve…

Andy Kotz here. We spoke on the phone awhile back about Splice (and I appreciated your comments and reassurance!). I'm currently buying Serum through their site. I wanted to know how I can be sure that I have all the "Noise" files that comes with Serum. I bought a 3rd party preset pack and I believe they are using the factory wavetables, samples, noises, etc. but a preset shows a noise file can't be found ("Serum was unable to load a Noise, due to a missing file")? I went back to check the preset pack to be sure that I didn't miss the Noises folder but there wasn't any files/folders other than the presets. I don't see anything on the Splice website other than the occasional updates that I install… so I was wondering? Would the Xfer updates (from Splice) include any missing data I may have?
(Maybe it's the preset developer error or omission?)

Thanks for your help and a great synth!!

Hi Andy,

This is not a support forum, I don't see an active Splice lease on your account. Please verify your account email used on Splice and use "forgot password" here to sign in with that account, which assuming payments have started will give you Serum forum access. Make sure you have the latest version of Serum running (matching Serum version showing on Splice plug-ins tab). Contact the person who sold you the presets, external noises may be needed, I can't know without more info.
