This is what worked for me, may not work for you. I simply installed the latest version of the Splice app from their website, and reloaded the plug in. I really hope that everyone can get back to making music, I know how frustrating and sometimes downright depressing it is when you are unable to contribute to your music production career. Good luck !

This also worked for me, just re-install Splice, and run the serum installer and then reopen your project.

I have just started using Cubase 9.5 and I am having the exact same problem.

I have deleted every .dll/ appdata/ presets/ splice client etc and reinstalled.. Then on opening serum in cubase 9.5 it says "locate serum presets folder", which I do, then it says sorry the serial number you have entered is invalid & when I try to reopen serum it prompts me to enter a serial number…

Please help I never had this problem in cubase 5 and I think I'm doing everything correct.

PS: serum still works fine in FL Studio 11

Did you verify Serum is no longer available in Cubase? It sounds to me like FL Studio and Cubase must be looking at different Serum dll files.
