Hello, first my english is not very good but I try as good as I can so I hope you'll understand :-)
I was never a fanboy of a developer but now I'm a Xfer fanboy! And I will tell you the reasons:
There are thousands of VST plugins available but many of them don't understand what musicians really need. I wrote many emails and threads in forums with my ideas and problems I have with different plugins and why I have them … often I got no response or sometimes developers answered angry or sulky …
But you know what musicians really need:
Nerve is a great beat plugin, it's really tight and that many save options to save different parts of a file are amazing. OK a full transpose feature would be very good, too …
Cthulhu is wonderful because this is the first midi plugin which really understands that chords and sequences needs to work together in the creative process! I read many books about music theory and thought I have to learn the piano … because most of the other available arpreggiator or sequencer solutions are only standard and boring and bring always the same or they have a very complex structure and are not user friendly … But now Cthulhu could be the solution that an electro musician like me doesn't need to become a big piano player!
