cthulhu not working with midi controller

my midi controller in not working with cthulhu in Logic Pro x

I have set it up as a midifx and it will only play chords if I use the in built keyboard in Logic Pro

can anyone help me set the midi keyboard up with cthulhu

Make sure your MIDI controller is transmitting on MIDI CH 1.
