The "Enabling Preset Changes using a MIDI Controller" feature is cool, but you can only go forward and backward.
Program Changes allow to randomize from an entire bank, and pick a different bank, or jump from say #7 to #120
- you don't need a hardware MIDI controller with Program Change, a simple Max for Live Program Change device is enough
+1 Midi Program change is a big part of my workflow and I thought the serum 1 implementation of mapping banks to folders was clever and quite useful.

Serum 2 does support MIDI program changes, although it's not documented in the manual.
It requires cooperation from the DAW because VST3 plug-ins do not directly receive MIDI.
