I am having trouble getting Serum 2 to just let the original midi signal pass to plugins inserted after in the processing chain. It just swallows the midi and doesnt output any midi whatsoever. The old serum didnt have this issue.
Is this a bug or is this an intentional change for Serum 2? I am using Bitwig (if that helps). Maybe there is a setting hidden somewhere, that I just cant find.
I have the same issue. It is an overlooked feature. Hoping it will be added, but in meanwhile you can wrap Serum in an instrument layer container.
It's very easy to overcome this if you're using Bitwig Studio (use an Instrument Layer for example). Other DAWs may require more fiddling or not support it at all. Ideally Serum 2 would let incoming MIDI pass through when its clip or arp features aren't in use.
