Hello! I don't know if anyone has had this issue here, but I am trying to secure all of my Serum folders onto my hard drive. I have both Serum 1 and 2, and I just moved both official folders that hold the presets, wavetables, etc. onto a folder on my hard drive. I loaded up Serum 2 and the "S1" folder does not appear in the dropdown menu anymore. I checked my file explorer and it shows up, but there is no routing to my Serum 1 presets folder. I can not manually add any of the folders that are in Serum 1, nor can I add in the presets themselves. I can't find anything in the user guide that can explain how to get it all back. I already fully uninstalled and reinstalled Serum 2 in the same place I wanted it to be, and that didn't help either. I am stuck and can't find any answers online either.
Please reply if anyone can give some tips on how to route Serum 1 presets back into Serum 2.
Any ideas on this one? Serum 1 can see all my presets! Open Serum 2 and they don't show..
Yup, same here. Had to reinstall my entire laptop for another reason. Serum 2 used to see and read all serum 1 presets fine. now after the re-install Serum 2 can't see Serum 1 presets. I have tried everything and no dice. Serum 2 sees its own presets, as does Serum 1, but 2 won't see 1's. Not sure if it is Windows 11 new mandatory documents folder now under One Drive𤮠that is the issue. I'm going to blame windows and user here and not Serum! Wondered if it was because i installed Serum 2 before Serum 1 and just copied all the preset folders over from my backup?
Appreciated finding this advice. I relocated in Serum 1, then had to restart my DAW before Serum 2 would find the folder, but it worked
I will say, it would be really nice if there was an option in serum 2 to just select a new folder location for both folders, same way DAWs let you select content locations in their options.
