I have Serum 2 and bought it thru the 'rent to own' program, which I believe is handled by splice.com .. Personally, I do not want anything to do with splice.com it is not what I need. However, I want to pay off in ful for what is left on the rent to own program, but for the last 90 minutes I have been bouncing back and forth between splice and xfer with no avail, no options to pay off, even tho, it takes me to that page, then select it and get a 404 error..

Does anyone know what TF is going on here? I've been told that Steve Duda is a great guy and responsible developer and contact.. but this error in technical/sales support is the face of his company, if the support is bad, then the company's reputation is at risk.. Support is the face of a company, this is always true.

I really need an answer, been trying to figure this out for about 90 minutes when it failed to activate in my DAW

The Xfer account you created will not be automatically be linked to your Splice account, that is why the license isn't showing up.

When you start a Rent-to-Own plan for Serum, an Xfer account is automatically created using your Splice email address.

Please do NOT create a new account as one already exists with your Splice lease.

Please contact Xfer support with your Xfer and Splice account details to get the issue resolved. You should get a response within a few days.

If you are using Serum via Splice's RTO program, you can only pay it off in full via splice.com.

If you navigate to https://splice.com/profile/plans you should see your Serum plan(s) with a "Pay remaining" link that will do just that.

Once it's paid off, a perpetual license will be deposited into your Xfer account and you no longer need to use Splice.
