Serum and Ultra are an example of updating the Wavetable engine to a modern level.

Has anyone else enjoyed the new wavetable manipulation in Ultra?

The new and truly impressive Wavetable generation system in the new Ultra, taking into account pitch and attack, allows you to preserve the character and characteristics of the original sound while manipulating it very naturally.

I feel like these are two different approaches to working with a wavetable: one is the good old 10s, and the other is a modern approach that takes into account more aspects of the material being manipulated.

I would really like to see the same Wavetable technology appear in Serum 2.5.

Agreed 100%. Once I saw what UltraWave was capable of doing with samples: #1 being the ability to add completely natural sounding sustains to a one-shot sample; and #2 being its multi-sample capability and the ability to essentially synthesize notes in the scale that weren’t even uploaded by the user, like if you upload only a few of a similar sample, it can essentially play all the notes in the scale which is crazy!

Would also love to see similar things come to Serum 2, but am also completely happy supporting Ultra Audio with their impressive development!
